I like Vampire stories, even when they are a thinly disguised Soap Opera. I liked "Kindred: The Embraced" because it was very classy and sensual. Much of that was due to the late Mark Frankel. Now Showtime has the only vampire series on the air right now (other than "Buffy") in their "The Hunger". They promised this would be even more stylish and sexy. I have watched the first three episodes and I have only one thing to say about the Showtime series. It sucks! We miss you Mr Frankel.
