• Game systems that I am more than familiar with:

  • Amber [TM Phage Press]: I have been an Amber fan for ages. I got into the first GenCon playtest game back in 1985 with Erick Wujcik, the designer,and have been involved with playing (and running) the game ever since.

  • Champions [TM Hero Games]: Since I am a comics fan, it was only natural that I would take to the best superhero RP system. This also includes the offshoots like Fantasy Hero and Justice, Inc. I started with Champions from the first edition and have stayed with it ever since.

  • DragonStorm: Being an art collector, it wasn't hard to develop a slight interest in the collectable cards games, but a collectable card roleplaying game is far more my style. It doesn't hurt that I already knew Susan van Camp from her SF / Fantasy artwork.

  • Dungeons & Dragons [TM and all that TSR, Inc.]: The first system I ever learned, starting with the original three book set in the white box way back in the mid-70's.

  • Runequest [TM Chaosium]: the first of the character oriented systems. I have copies of all four revisions of the rules. Also a fascinating campaign world. The system was also adapted for the following: Stormbringer and Hawkmoon based on Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion books; Elfquest, from the comic series by Wendy & Richard Pini; and Ringworld, from Larry Niven's novels.

  • Storyteller, particularly Vampire: the Masquerade, Mage: the Ascension, and Changeling: the Dreaming. [TM and such White Wolf Games, Inc.] Another character oriented system.

  • The Chronicles of Darkness, a short-lived APA devoted to White Wolf's World of Darkness campaign setting, it died when the central mailer moved unexpectedly.
