Leda, a librarian in love with books, insists she doesn't need anyone else in her life. Strange occurences at her library derail her convictions, though. The books may not be as innocent as they seem.
♦ "Hair of the Dog"
This is an urban fantasy that takes place in the 20s. Lydia arrives at a speakeasy in Milwaukee because she needs "to see a man about a dog", but it isn't whiskey she's after. I am still doing research for this one, but I hope to start plodding through the rough draft before the end of the month.

This is the Two of Cups story in my Fate series. Caradeci accidentally slipped between dimensions from Fate to Earth a decade ago. She fell in love with Alex, someone from Earth. The balance insists she's stayed on Earth too long, and she is slowly fading away. Her and Alex seek a way to prevent it or find a way back to Fate.

The Wizard of Oz is a timeless story that nearly everyone knows about. So what happens when that timeless story is turned on its head? Dorothy is a bully who is thrown into the world of Oz. She gets a taste of her own medicine from a crazy trio of munchkins and the Wizard of Oz himself.
♦ "Dreams in Shadow"
The first story in my Fate series. This one represent the Tarot card called The Fool and takes place in the world of Fate. Tilly is a twelve-year-old girl who throws caution to the wind and has no heed of consequences. But she hides another side, which Mia, one of the three cat sisters found in all the Fate stories, discovers.
♦ "Hell Hath No Fury"
Moira just died, and she has the unlucky job of being the greeter for the 2nd floor of hell, tacky devil costume and all. To top things off her ex-boyfriend is spending the rest of eternity on the same floor as Moira. She thinks it couldn't get worse, until a rapist decides she's going to be his first target in hell.
♦ "Petals and Blood"
Most of Leera believe in the God, but the Witches believe in the Goddess. Teela doesn't trust the Witches, and she takes her own measures to rid Leera of them. This story is based in the world of The Mind Behind the Mind trilogy that I'm working on.
♦ "Ode to Buses and Libraries"
Grinka and Syndago in yet another story (and the two fairies, who just might burn the manuscript). This time they're in the immortal world - Grinka needs to find out what's up with that damn rash on her neck.
♦ "Suicide Woes"
Grinka, the sea nymph, and Syndago, the not so giant, giant, battle with Syndago's suicidal tendencies. Did I mention they're immortal? To make matters worse, two naked, lewd fairies disturb their not-so-peaceful lives.
♦ "Bloodstains"
This is a melding of "On the Other Side" and "The Chronicles." Do you think I'm obsessed with the end of the world stories? Nah.
♦ "The Awakening"
The Ki elves wish to rule the world, but they are bound to their beds with weakness. Their only hope is to impregnate a stronger race. Most of their attempts fail. Most.
♦ "Prince Upon a Black Horse"
She dreams of her prince, but an incident in her past won't stop haunting her. Prepare to be chilled with this horror story.
♦ "This Is Where I Stand"
A Queen in Waiting doesn't want to be the next Queen. She'd rather return to the kingdom she was born in, filled with magick beyond reckoning. But the kingdom she is to become Queen of banished that very magick ages ago.
♦ "The Game"
Leda has nothing left to live for, in her heart at least. Yet she yearns for some adventure, so she enters The Game, and soon discovers there's no way out but death.
♦ "On the Other Side"
This is an end of the world piece, mixed with magick and poetry. There will be survivors, but no one can be sure who will make it to the other side.
♦ "Sunset Street"
Have you ever been sucked into a computer game? I mean literally. Well, that's what happens to the main character in this story. She learns a lot about life in the odd world she falls into.
♦ "Notes"
Sometimes jokes can go too far. The supernatural might be drawn in by your actions, so watch out.
♦ "Isabel"
Twin sisters play in a house believed to be haunted.
♦ "Cold...Oh So Cold"
There are three kingdoms covered in an eternal winter. The hearts of many of the inhabitants might be colder than the land they live in, but they're not as strong as their greatest enemy.
♦ "Black Blood"
A shapechanger, whose form is a cat, seeks out her lover who was kidnapped. The kidnapper doesn't want a prophecy to come true. Will his actions cause it to come about anyway?
