I went and bought a book on java yesterday. I also pulled out a book/course on Visual Basic that I had lying around. Maybe I can develop some sort of marketable job skill that doesn't involve a casino.

Yesterday, in celebration of my weight loss, I went through my closet and tried on all sorts of clothing that hasn't fit in a while.

Good news: Some of it fits again.

Bad news: Some of it doesn't. (Okay, much of it still doesn't, but at least it feels like I'm getting closer. There was a bunch of stuff that I could get on, but couldn't quite breathe in.)
