Mood: not quite as hostile


Last night saw some seriously good iron pumping action -- I did bench presses, triceps presses, sitting presses (whatever the hell they're called -- you sit up and press over your head), standing lat pulldowns and crunches. By the time I was finished, I was panting and at peace. Don't tell me that exercise isn't good for stress -- you throw enough iron around, you get real calm in a big hurry.

Unfortunately, something I ate earlier didn't agree with me, and I would up spending the hours between midnight and 5:00 AM in the bathroom with an intermittent but roaring case of the runs. The noises coming from my midsection were loud, gurgly and frightening, like Cthulhu rising from the depths. Ia, Ia, salmon with chipotle barbecue sauce fhtagn!

Oh. and did you know that Kroger's fruit-flavored pedialyte-alike tastes like salty Tropical flavor Kool-Aid? Now you do.
