Foo, I'm tired.
Yesterday was 25 minutes on the reclining bike, and no weights because the room was jammed. I spent six hours cleaning the living room (yes, just the living room) today, so it was a cardio-no weights day as well. I figure I'll do the leg stuff tomorrow, after my body stops screaming at me.
Still worked out, though, so that's all good.

25 minutes on the reclining bike, bench presses, triceps presses, overhead presses and standing lat pulldowns. So can someone please explain to me how I GAINED three pounds?
Yes, I know -- it's water weight. I can press dimples in my shins all the way up to my frigging knee, I'm so damn bloated. If this doesn't stop soon, I'm going to see the doctor and find out what the hell is going wrong with my body.
Dammit.

Holy mother of Cthulhu. I went down to the weight room to do my Tuesday cardio, and it must have been Fitness Happy Hour because there were at least four other people in there working out on the equipment. Five sweaty people in a small, unairconditioned room with the door to the outside closed -- I've been in saunas that were more temperate.
As a result, thirty minutes on the reclining bike has left me absolutely drenched in sweat, and feeling rather good about it because it's an excellent way to get rid of retained body water (yes, I'm bloating again and I have no idea why). Unfortunately I saw pictures of myself from ConDFW over the weekend, and the double chin I'm sporting has to go, kids, no question about it. If thirty minutes of cardio in a warm room will help make progress towards that goal, I'm all for it, baybee.

I'm making up for yesterday (slept for a humongous amount of time due to little to no sleep the night before), so this morning was 15 minutes on the reclining bike, plus 3 x 10 sets of lat pulldowns, standing rows, and dumbbell curls. I need to do deadlifts, as well, but I didn't have time so I'll do those tonight when I do today's cardio.
And I really, REALLY need to start working out regularly and watching what I'm eating -- I haven't seen any improvement over the last month, and in fact my gut seems larger. Which sucks, but I know it can be remedied with diet and exercise. Just wish I felt a little more motivated.
