Joe Haldeman (at left above) is the author of THE FOREVER WAR and many other fine works. He is also my brother. We did one novel together, THERE IS NO DARKNESS.

This picture of us was taken at the World Fantasy Convention in New Orleans. I am 18 months older than Joe.

I have more hair than Joe does, but he has more Hugos. God moves in mysterious ways.

As a bonus, I'm presenting the photgraph above for those with an eye for history. Joe's the kid on the right. I'm the one giving our mother the bird. The bird was probably named Chipper. Mother had a lot of birds and she named most of them Chipper. It made things easier.
