I’ve been writing science fiction and fantasy since I was twelve, occasionally submitting my stories to magazines. At Millennium Philcon I went fangirl over George Scithers and told him I’d loved his rejection slips when I was a kid. He responded, “What have you been doing since then?” A few years later, I was startled to discover that, among other things, I had spent nearly twenty years working at almost every job on the other side of publishing, from editorial assistant to typesetting.
Now, it’s mostly writing and looking after my daughter.
“The Witch of Westmoreland Avenue," my first sale, was published in the fantasy anthology MISSPELLED, edited by Julie Czerneda and published by DAW, 2008.
