Not only was this my first foray into the fantasy genre, but it was my first attempt at series writing.
I must admit, I didn’t originally set out to write a series. But as I got further into Isavalta, and spent more time with Bridget, I found there were so many stories, both in the past and in the future from the present I was writing in, I knew I needed the space and scope provided by multiple books.
